Surf fishing on Cocoa Beach
It's easy and fun for everyone.

Jim holding a 16 inch black drum
I've been fishing Cocoa Beach for about ten years now. When I started, I had never caught anything in the ocean and didn't know where to begin. I saw my neighbor catch a few fish just casting a grocery store shrimp into the surf and I figured I could do that too. I've learned a few things in the intervening years and I catch a lot more fish now.

From colorful reef fish to sharks, and crabs to tarpon, the Florida Atlantic is home to hundreds of species. But catching or getting skunked, it is always great to be outside in the fresh air and sunshine.
